Meet Ruprecht McGrinkins

Ruprectht McGrinkins is the most inquisitive man in a quiet rural town, at the bottom of the hill, in a very vague location. He can smell a trout from a country mile off.

Ruprecht is played by John Doran.

John is a Dublin/Kilkenny based actor with a BA in Drama & Performance (DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama). He has worked extensively with The Devious Theatre Company as a Director, Actor and Writer since 2010.

Recently; John has brought his one-man show The Centre of The Universe (**** Public Reviews) to the West Cork Fit Up Theatre Festival and Dublin in November of 2015.  He recently performed in It,Folds on the Peacock Stage (Abbey Theatre/Tiger Dublin Fringe) and appeared as the title role in The Abbey Theatre Production of Me, Michael.

John will next appear in a national tour of Care by Willfedd theatre.
